iguess i should update this more often. but uh, what is there to say?
im in art school now, its hard, but i like it. ive been really busy, and havent really been checking my devart a whole lot, and havent uploaded in a long time, i should prolly do that

First of all i want to say that I'm very excited, but still in shock. Yesterday I won the best in show at the High School Arts 2009. This was a gallery set up by the University of Tampa featuring art from a bunch of different high schools in the area.
Each participant could submit up to 3 pieces, due to some timing issues I was unable to fire the ceramic tiles I as planning to submit but still sent in two other pieces. One was a linoleum which was not displayed, and the other was the sketchbook I have been working on since last summer. Well it won Best in Show and got me a 10,000 dollar scholarship if I choose to enroll in the art program in UT!
I'm planning on going to SCAD in Georgia, but now this school has just become an option to seriously look at, either way its pretty f*****g cool that I won.
A friend of mine has offered to help me make a website for my art, and upload all the pages of my book on to the web. I've already scanned about 80 pages, but allot of those have changed since then, and so i will need to re-scan those, along with the rest of the book.

I've been accepted into Ringing, and SCAD. so hopefully if i can afford it i will be going to SCAD this fall. for now i'm just going to worry about paying for it.
